Weird Wednesday

Today my friend and I decided to go out for a calm and uneventful Wednesday afternoon coffee.It appears 101 Reykjavík had something else planned... for some reason there were quite a lot of people downtown and numerous events going on, including an Australian street performer (we don't see a lot of street performing in Iceland...) and discoball-headed individuals carrying a boombox. The discobots were apparently advertizing a phone company but I have no explanation for what appears to be a TV funeral... if anyone knows, please tell me!
